Highlighting of "jewels" or take-aways from a plenary session at a conference. This visual metaphor enable the participants to agree upon a set of actions to implement their key learnings.

Using a facilitated process by Dorothy Strachen "Enabling Action" we created a visual metaphor of "what, so what, now what" as separate knowledge containers, in which to glean the insights of the conference participants around key questions.

Facilitating critical thinking process with a group, we developed several visual metaphors to capture the participants thoughts and ideas, leading to an agreed set of ethical choices.

Strategy Planning

A popular strategy planning process, the SWOT deals with understanding the current situation, by summarising an organisation's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. In our template we've added a section called the "driver's" where we highlight the key driver's of the strategy before going into the visioning process.
Leading the group through a visualisation exercise we teased out key statements of what the future success of the organisation looks like, and grouped these into "visionary themes" (idea globes). We then guided the group to formulate a mission statement (using the central position to hold this) based on the visionary themes.
After creating the desired future state (visioning) focus is now placed on quantifying the measures of success. The emphasis of this chart is developing the objectives and targets that measure the accomplishment of the future state.
Building the implementation plan, this chart assists the group in developing the strategic initiatives by controlling it's success factors and overcoming the barriers associated with each goal and set of objectives.
A final demonstration of commitment by the participants to the implementation planning timelines and responsibilities.
